Juanita Chinn

Juanita Chinn is a second year graduate student in the Department of Sociology. She comes to the University of Texas with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics/Psychology. Prior to entering the graduate program at UT, Juanita held several actuarial positions in the insurance and consulting industries.

Juanita is currently working on her MA thesis which looks at educational differences in lung cancer mortality.

Andrea Henderson's research focus examines the multifaceted influence of religion in daily life, with a special emphasis in examining its impact on adolescents, bi-racial/multi-racial individuals, and mental and physical health throughout the life course.
